The AIDS Institute has always supported equality and has in place nondiscrimination policies that include sexual orientation and gender identity.

We begin every Sunday service by declaring: "Welcome to Unity of Saint Petersburg where diversity is praised and peace and harmony are the rewards."

We support the work of Equality Florida and have participated in events of, and contributed to the Equality Florida Palm Beach County Meet-up. We also have a comprehensive nondiscrimination clause in our by-laws (adopted in 1996)which reads as follows:
