Forever Families is a full service private adoption agency that has worked with the LGBT community since we opened in 2004. We are a supportive, non-judgemental, safe, and welcoming agency. We are experienced and knowledgable about the home study and adoption process. We have social workers throughout the state. The Independent Adoption Center (IAC) is the preeminent open adoption agency nationwide.  Founded in 1982, IAC is a counseling-based, licensed, nonprofit agency that has facilitated over 4,000 adoptions.  
The mission of the Independent Adoption Center is to provide open adoption placement and counseling to birth and adoptive families to ensure that every child grows up feeling loved and supported. 

Forever Families has always been an advocate for ending the gay adoption ban. Our Executive Director, Margot Logan, lobbied in Tallahassee and locally against the ban. We have a team set up who are excited about being able to serve the GLBT comunity. We are strong advocates for LGBT adoption, and don't see any reason to ask about a person's orientation when doing a home study.
