The Independent Adoption Center (IAC) is the preeminent open adoption agency nationwide. Founded in 1982, IAC is a counseling-based, licensed, nonprofit agency that has facilitated over 4,000 adoptions.
The mission of the Independent Adoption Center is to provide open adoption placement and counseling to birth and adoptive families to ensure that every child grows up feeling loved and supported.
IAC is one of the only adoption agencies in the country that has never had any exclusionary policies for adoptive parents, including age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, religion, ethnic background, color, or race.
My business follows a policy of non-discrimination that includes sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.
