Dr. Matt Borer, LMFT

My practice is a small, boutique practice where I serve individuals, couples, and families of all ethnicities, religions, colors, and or sexual orientations or preferences. My practice is a laid back environment, free of judgement, where we can work together to figure out any problem you may be facing. Thank you for considering me as a potential therapist for you and or your family.

Gary Howell, PsyD, PC

The Center for Psychological Growth was formed by Dr. Gary Howell, the CEO and chief psychologist. As his solo practice continued to grow and evolve, he felt it was time to expand beyond Gary Howell, Psy.D., PC and create a space where more lives could be positively impacted.  Dr. Melina Scally joined the group and is a staff psychologist and partner in the practice.  The Center is located in the heart of historic Ybor City. We pride ourselves on being an accepting space for all who seek psychological growth in all its forms. We have a specialty practice in working with LGBTQ patients.
