We are a Christian church, trying to love others as Jesus taught us to do-- meaning EVERYBODY is included. Everyone has the same opportunities in leadership, worship and fellowship at Avondale UMC. Our mission is: Love God. Love People. NO Exceptions.

Our music is a blend of contemporary and traditional worship songs and hymns. Our weekly message is Biblically based, through a Jesus-oriented lens (Jesus said, "Love God with all that you are and love other people as you love yourself. All the rest of the Law hangs from those two." - Matthew 22:37-40). We include people of all gender orientations/identities, ethnicities, ages, physical abilities and nationalities.
