Our spiritual community of more than 700 members embraces diversity, practices inclusiveness, extends compassion and engenders justice through the church’s numerous service and outreach programs. Our church compact best reflects our spiritual beliefs and practices:

We are an open and affirming church, which means that we welcome all people across the spectrum of sexual orientation and gender identity and expression into every element of church life and leadership. Being “ONA” is not just a statement we make, but a value we live out every day.

The United Church of Gainesville provides a variety of programs that support personal and spiritual growth and encourage community-building for adults, children and youth. In addition, UCG offers numerous opportunities to practice “theology with our sleeves rolled up” through the church’s outreach and social justice programs.
