We support the work of Equality Florida and have participated in events of, and contributed to the Equality Florida Palm Beach County Meet-up. We also have a comprehensive nondiscrimination clause in our by-laws (adopted in 1996)which reads as follows:
ARTICLE VIII NONDISCRIMINATION
Subject to its status as a Christian Church and the requirement that each member of this church acknowledge Jesus Christ as their personal savior, this church shall enforce a policy of strict nondiscrimination on the basis of gender, gender identification, sexual orientation, marital or familial status, health or HIV status, physical challenge, race, color, creed, nationality, national origin, language, age, political views, or economic status in all its activities, including, but not limited to, membership, employment, election to office, participation in committees and ministries, participation in worship services, participation in all social and other activities of the church and access to any and all of the services, support or assistance of this church.
